Jess Oliver

Jess is an Associate Director at a compliance company, leading the Fire Engineering team. Prior to working in consultancy, Jess worked for Principal Contractors delivering projects including Crossrail and HS2. Jess spends her spare time with her Frenchie!

Katherine Burgum

Katherine is a Graduate Fire Engineer at Delta Fire Engineering alongside studying for her MEng in Fire Engineering at the University of Central Lancashire. Katherine has a keen interest in wildfires which she has developed during her Undergraduate dissertation and will be continuing this into her Post-Graduate research.

Hi I’m Katie Lowe and I’m a recruitment consultant for the fire engineering industry. I have been in this career for nearly 17 years now and still love it! No day is the same in this sector, rewarding and challenging all in one!

Georgina Williams

Georgina Williams

Georgina is a Fire Engineer at a multi-disciplinary consultancy, working with construction design teams to provide fire safety advice for both new and remediation projects across a range of industries, building uses and end-users. Georgina previously completed a PhD in Fluid Dynamics and spends her free time with her family or in her craft room.

Nicola is an experienced fire services business manager, currently working at Balfour Beatty. She has a proven track record of growing fire safety businesses.

Jude Evans

Judith Evans

Jude is a fire risk assessor and fire engineer who has been running her own business for over 10 years. She enjoys the challenge of changing opinions relating to fire safety and empowering clients to manage their fire safety from within. She covers all sectors, including the dirty ones – if it involves a huge amount of PPE, she’ll be there. She says “I kept my head below the parapet for so long just working away, but now I feel it’s time to give something back to my industry, especially those women coming through who deserve the chances I never had.”

Nikki Smith

Nikki has worked within the fire safety industry for over eight years. Starting in the coordination of fire risk assessments she quickly developed a passion for fire safety. Beginning to lead and grow teams to deliver applied fire safety services in the ever changing technical and legislative landscape was an opportunity which presented itself and in turn, Nikki enjoys supporting colleagues and peers to achieve their professional and personal aspirations. Creating empowering environments through people centred operational practice, Nikki is passionate about ensuring opportunities for others to excel and succeed are embedded into every day.

Saskia Stimpson-Wright

Saskia Stimpson-Wright

Saskia is a Principal Fire Engineer managing complex fire safety design projects through from concept to completion – she has experience in a wide number of sectors including residential (including high-rise residential), students residential, assembly and recreation, office, mixed-use, schools and industry, as well as a strong knowledge of fire science to inform fire safety engineering analysis.  Saskia also has a keen interest in training and development and supporting the next generation of fire engineers and fire safety professionals.
